What specifically do you like/love about this dress? Is it the straps or the detail on the bottom? What shade of green are you looking for?
Not sure if this is correct green, but I figured you could at least have a look!
That dress is VERY pretty! I can see why you are sad you can't have it in green. Could you possibly find a dressmaker to make them for you?
Have you looked at Dessy? They have lots of dresses that are a solid color but many different styles.

I love the caviar black overlay the best!!! To top it off, my ladies don't want to wear strapless, which seems like 98% of dresses are right now (bust issues). I don't blame them. Is this dress an ugly alternative? (see below)

Is there a color green at David's that you like? Maybe you could browse by color and see if you like something similar? I think you're going to have a hard time finding something with that black overlay, esp. because I think most people don't imagine green and black together.

Not to burst your bubble but I tried that dress on at David's and it is actually rather matronly. I too loved it on the hanger but when I tried it on it mad me look sooooo old. I'm not sure how old your WP is but depending on their age it might not work. Just a thought
Sorry, I love the original dress, but not really the last one you posted. It's too bad you can't make that color work because that really is a beautiful dress! I especially love the detail at the hem. Have you tried looking online at department stores to see if they have something you are more interested in? It's kind of a gamble, but if you wait until the spring stuff comes out in stores, you might have better luck with finding the right color. Or, maybe you'll even get lucking looking through holiday dresses which I think might already be out now. I'm going to look around to see if I have any luck, but is there a particular shade of green you are wanting?

okay, so I found THE BM dress for my girls, however, it doesn't apparently come in green. :( I'm heartbroken! Even the girls love it! Anyway, does anyone know of a seller that has something similiar?
