I'm sorry you are going through this. I really hope it turns out to be okay. Keep us posted.
Oh that just stinks. I'm not a particularly religious person but my Grandma always told me to pray to St. Anthony who is the keeper of lost things using this "St. Anthony, St. Anthony Please come down. Something is lost And can't be found." I know it sounds crazy but it ALWAYS seems to work. I've told other people and it's worked for them too. Might be worth a shot. Or you might just think I'm nuts - and, hey, that's always likely. Good luck!
LOL.... funny... That's my FI's name. He might think from the next room "Why is she calling me Saint? and why do I need to come down?"
Oh I am so sad for you... I hope you find it and I have sent a prayer for you... good luck and I hope that this works out for you.
that is really horrible. You should speak to the girl again, showing her proof of her signature. I assume this is someone who doesn't work with you? You could also try to contact fedex or whoever, and tell them that they delivered the package to the wrong office, and now it is missing....I don't know if something like that is covered under insurance.
Oh man that really sucks!! I'm sorry and I hope you find it!!!
I just want to say - definitely ask the girl about it, but please don't assume she stole it!! I used to be the person in my office who signed for everything and I'd sign for about 50 packages a day that the delivery guys would leave on the table around the corner from me so I didn't even lay eyes on 99% of them. It just takes up so much time even without keeping track of individual packages and it's extremely rare that one gets misplaced. And then on the time or two that they DID and people blamed ME I wanted to kill everyone. So just b/c your name is on the receipt doesn't mean you have all that much to do with it!! Anyone else could have grabbed it when it was sitting out. But hopefully someone just moved it and it'll turn up. Also try calling FedEx and see if there's any insurance etc.
Good luck!!!
dreambml is right , call the shipping company and make sure the driver who delivered the package goes back and speaks with the exact person who delivered the package. This happens a lot , believer it or not , if it's an item of value the company you ordered it from will probably also work with the shipping company. In most cases it magically turns up once people start looking for it , even if it's a dishonest co-worker. Good luck!!!

I ordered pretty expensive things for my BMs. Thing is it needed a signature so I chose to get it sent to work. BIG mistake! Well it came 2 days early, which is fine, but my office was not opened yet so they took it to another department to get signed (without saying too much, our office is inside of a general building.) Reason I found out I checked my email to track the order. It showed a signature and a printed name. I called the office and one of the girls knew who signed for it. She checked the office and told me there wasn't a package in there
She said most likely that person walked it over to our office but if they opened the package without reading they would find out what it is. It's an item that's wanted by anybody. But not everybody's honest right? I'm tired, hungry, sad and mad and I can't sleep. The wedding is this weekend and I need it. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I see her. I know the person she's talking about.
