The title says it all. Show me a picture of your ring in a way that I can see the prongs – and tell me what size your stone is. You can describe the prongs if necessary (e.g. how many, what type, how they’ve held up, why you picked them, etc).

Just a regular 4 prong platinum here. Center stone is 1.3 ct. The band is 2mm wide, 3pts each, shared prong. I had no say in it, but he picked out platinum cause he liked the weight of it and liked the minimalistic simple look of shared/4 prong.

Please excuse my disgusting fingers, I’m a nail biter AND I work in automotive, so my hands are icky.
My ring is size 5, .5carat center stone, .12carat side stones. 6 prongs, although I’m considering switching for a 4 prong setting because you’d see more of the diamond. I did not choose my ring, my fh did, but he chose 6 prongs because it’s more secure and I DO wear my ring alllll the time, even at work (I’m totally not allowed to, but shhhhh)

@Purple_Bride: I actually really like the way the 6 prongs looks on that diamond! Mine is the same size but I have 4 prongs, so I know what you mean when you say you want more of the ring to show through. The prongs on your ring are dainty enough that I don’t think it’s hiding anything!

Typical 4 prongs. I had them put thicker ones on because the original prongs that came with my setting were too thin and i almost lost my diamond. 🙁
Center stone is 1.35.
