Congrats! I was a TFA Corps member. Let me know if you have any questions about the experience.
Wow, that's great! I know some people who applied - it's really competitive, and it's so great that you got it!
Way to go, girl! I am a Teach for America alum! PM me if you have any questions--I'd be happy to tell you all about my experience. I was a CM in Las Vegas, so totally different than the Delta though, haha

and I think we are moving to the Mississippi Delta! This is such a huge step, but I relish the ability to put myself in new and unchartered waters. You never know what you are capable of until you push yourself. I know that there are some who have had horrible experiences with TFA, but like I said I think I'm ready to take a leap of faith!
Beyond being super excited about teaching, I think that this will be such a great thing for Fi and I's relationship. With everything he has dealt with here (unemployment, awful jobs, etc.) I'm really excited about us both graduating and starting fresh somewhere, together.
If there are any others delta CMs out there...out yourselves :) I'm looking for all the info I can get in the next couple of days before I make my final decision.
