By a PROPOSAL!

Last night my boyfriend fiance proposed!  I can't believe I actually get to say that!  He totally surprised me and I had NO idea!

As the clock counted down to midnight I turn to give my boyfriend a new years kiss and hug and what do I see?  Him DOWN ON ONE KNEE!

Never in my wildest dreams would I have suspected anything.  It was so perfect.  And luckily all of our friends were there to capture the moment for us.  I only have pictures from my camera at the moment but I will post more as I get them. :)

The moment was so perfect. :)  But went by way too fast!

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man.

And of course, what all of you ladies have been waiting for... Ring Porn!!

Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE it?!  It is EXACTLY what I wanted!  But in all honesty, it didn't even matter.  I didn't even look at the ring until about a half hour later.

I still can't believe it actually happened!  I keep waiting to wake up and have this all be a dream.  2011 will be the most amazing year!!

And ladies, want to know the kicker??  He's had the ring since AUGUST, which coincidentally is shortly after I stopped talking to him about getting married (mr. bee's plan works!)! Luckily I had no clue since he kept putting me off by saying that an engagement wouldn't be "for a WHIIILLLE".  And I believed him like a sucker... But it made the moment all the more special and COMPLETELY unexpected!

His thoughts on proposing?  "It was the hardest thing in the world to not tell you what I was planning!  You're my best friend in the world and I tell you everything, to keep a secret like this from you was so hard, I almost spilled the beans a couple times".  <3

Thank you everyone!!  I'm still in shock that this actually happened and that this is actually my life.  :)

And thanks for all of the compliments on the shoes!!  I sparkled them myself!  They were just plain brown heels. :)

@SoontobeMrsA: Thank you!!  I used Mod Podge (which is a decoupage crafting glue that dries clear) and a lot of glitter!  I mixed them up in a bowl (use alot of glitter) and brush on about 4 coats letting them dry in between (about a half hour)!  Easy as pie and only takes a couple hours.

@mrbee:  I would say the plan definitely worked.  I stopped talking about weddings and engagements unless it was about a friends upcoming wedding or recent engagement.  I started taking care of myself, and eating better and lost 20 lbs!  I felt great about myself and honestly getting married wasn't a priority, I was happy with our relationship and myself.  The pressure was off!  I knew we were heading in the direction of marriage, but we hardly talked about it and whenever we did we always talked like it was so far in the future... so when he proposed it was COMPLETELY unexpected.

I just think it's funny that only a month or two after dropping all of the marriage talk he goes out and buys a ring... He was just waiting for the perfect moment. :)

Thank you everyone!  It is finally sinking in.  Although we haven't set a date we aren't planning anything soon and will probably get married in 2012.  I'm so happy!

Thanks everyone!!  It is finally sinking in.  It's funny because my FI is already used to it because he's been thinking about it and planning it for so long, but it was such a surprise for me I've like a little kid the last couple days and I can't stop thinking about it! And now I can't stop staring at my ring! 

For anyone interested the dress is from Forever21.  I'm a sucker for a bargain. ;)
