I dressed as Lady Gaga for Halloween this past year, and I put a LOT of time an effort into my costume. I've always sort of longed for an excuse to wear it again, and I totally got it on Friday - a bar right by my house had a Gaga costume contest!
I thought I would just have to show up in my costume and walk around, but no - I had to participate in a runway show. I was so scared! I am not an attention seeker and I'm totally awkward on stage. Luckily, I had a lot of positive feedback about my costume so I wasn't worried about the crowd reaction.
I ended up taking second and won $150. Not too shabby! Here's a picture from the bar's website.
