Our first gift was a convection toaster oven πŸ™‚

We had some people ship things directly to us, but besides that it was just the few days leading up to my shower.

Since then, nada.

I was kinda bummed no one bought our towels (cause we REALLY need them!) and none of the smaller $20 and under items!  That’s the kind of stuff I always buy for showers!

YAY your first gift!!!  πŸ™‚

@M.Ruder: Yes, super exciting!! πŸ™‚ Our first registry item was actually a wedding gift (even before I sent the invitations out) and it was two Le Crueset casserole pans. Loves it!!

@M.Ruder:  πŸ™‚  After I posted I totally went and scoped out our registries… no new purchases, bummer.

@thewheelsonthebus: Haha I just did the same! After my shower, the gift buying totally went south until last weekend. We noticed that the electric fondue and oval party beverage server from C&B had been purchased and arrived on our doorstep this past week. It’s like christmas receiving these gifts in the mail!

Yay! My parents bought us a Keurig about a month ago (I assume as a shower gift) but I don’t expect anything else to be purchased until well after the shower invites go out, so probably mid-late July. So impatient!

Stuff has been FLYING off our registry–like, I added stuff this afternoon, and it was bought by evening.  Some of our big items are still on there, and we added more this evening.  The first thing to disappear was all of our china place settings–FI’s great aunt must love us!
