I totally get where you’re coming from and I’m sorry.  We had to push our date back six weeks and I hated it.  Everyone kept saying “It’s only six weeks later” but it was hard everyday to look at the save the dates with the old date.  I kept myself incredibly busy with wedding stuff on the wedding day to keep myself from getting upset if that helps at all.

@napabridekelsey: I didn’t accept it really until we actually got married.  It didn’t help that I made it part of my username here and had to see it everyday.  And I totally get it about contacting vendors.  We had to cancel with some and change some and every time I contacted one it wasn’t fun at all.  Like I said, on the day especially keep yourself busy.  It wasn’t as hard that we had a whole day of doing wedding stuff but it still stung a little when it was the time that I was supposed to be walking down the aisle.

How much was the patch?  Could you order it with the new date?

Sorry you are feeling like that – only still use the patch if it isn’t going to sting and affect your wedding day!  I love that you kept the honeymoon the same!  It is something to look forward to and I won’t lie I’m a little envious of your little break from wedding stress BEFORE the wedding!  Smile – you are still marrying the man of your dreams and will still live happily ever after :o)
