Ack! Definitely time for some relaxation/pampering... Hopefully, post-pampering, the anxiety dreams will be a thing of the past for you.
I'm wondering when these dreams usually start - are you close to your date? We're five months out, and aside from an occasional panic, I've been ok so far. Hopefully, this isn't a harbinger of things to come!
We are ten days out. I'd say that is pretty close! What am I even doing on the internet? I still have so much to do!
Just remember, it's only a dream!!! :)
My nightmares started about 5 months out, but they've actually gotten less frequent (1 every week or 2 instead of a few per week) as I get closer to my date (1 month away!)
those nasty wedding nightmares get you in the end ;) At least it was just a dream, and not the real thing. I've had a few wedding nightmares, none recently, but back around the 4 month mark I had quite a few (about the same time I was doing my DIY invites, go figure)
Only 10 days left? Yippee!!
I've been having them since before we were engaged. =( Hang in there, massages and good sleep works wonders!
We're almost exactly a year away and I've already had around 5. I keep having a recurring one that my moms boyfriend lets his pet tiger loose during the ceremony in the chapel (not that he actually has a pet tiger...) and he scares off all the guests.
I also keep having ones about my dress unravelling as I walk down the aisle, and my eyelashes falling out right before the ceremony. But then again I've always had my fair share of nightmares.
Wow, that is a crazy nightmare. My nightmares started about a month ago. Mine are all zombie related -- my fiance loves zombie books and movies. In my dreams the guests become zombies and the wedding party has to make a run for it. Somehow we end up on my school campus locked in the gym. Ugh. I can't wait for the nightmares to end.
Thanks for laughs everyone. The fiancee and I got a kick out of reading these. How silly are we brides that we let wedding planning invade our waking and sleeping hours?!
I just had my first nightmare and I'm 3 months away..
I dreamed that I had decided at the last minute to move my wedding from 7PM to 11am and nobody would get off the couch and into the car! I was going house to house saying, "come on you guys, the wedding is in a half hour! Let's move!" and they would not move.
Finally, I guess I gave up on them and decided to try on dresses. I was deciding between a shiny blue ball gown, a traditional big white dress, and a RED gorgeous flamenco style dress. Which do you think I went with - that's right - the RED.
I woke up like "what did I eat last night?"
I think I'm struggling because I am not in LOVE with my current dress. I can tell you the long story another time of how the dress and I came to be. I'm not planning to dye it red, but I might get it altered. significantly?
(sigh) I wonder what the other dreams will be like? I'm not a bridezilla at all, but I am a woman of anxiety. For. Reals.

I had my first wedding nightmare last night. I was the Day of Coordinator and I had booked three weddings at the same venue on the same day and, you guessed it, at the same time. My mother was one bride. Her wedding was going the worst. Her make-up artist put mercury in the make-up (huh?), the caterer delivered the food to the wrong venue and the flowers just didn't show up. While attempting to locate a HAZMAT team to clean up the mercury, I received notice that a hurricane was rolling in (I live in Omaha), and then I cried.
*sigh*
I think it is time to schedule my pre-wedding pampering session.
