What the hell???  That is insane!  It’s like she doesn’t want to sell any dresses!  I would tell you to call the owner and complain, but since this was the owner, I would just try to write as many negative reviews as possible!

Good Lord.  I would have punched her.  I’m a street size 8 (and was even a little heavier than this when I was trying on dresses) and I fit in every single one no problem.  They are usually a 10 or 12.  If she is ordering her samples in a size 4 she is going to have a hard time selling many dresses!!

Yes, go write everyone please. I hate rude people. I’m so sorry someone said that. I can’t believe it.

@unixfairy: Wow. That woman has NO business working anywhere that deals with customer service. What a rude b*tch! Did you stay at the shop or did you walk out? Because I sure as hell would have walked out if someone said something like that to me! I hope you didn’t let this woman’s idiotic words skew how you view yourself. If she thinks someone who is a size 6-8 is too big to fit into a sample size, she lives on another planet!! I’m amazed at how some people can be so rude and clueless.

Wow!  That is terrible!  You would think she would want your business.  Obviously she doesn’t.  That is a shame!  I’m sorry you had that experience.

it’s like the owner just said “i don’t actually like making sales… i just like to make myself feel better by putting happy brides down even if it puts me out of business.”

WHAT?!?! Is she crazy? Was she trying to scare you into buying it right then or something?

I’m a street size 12 and have been able to try on sample gowns (and lots of them) at every store I’ve been to. I can’t imagine you won’t be able to find a sample to try that will fit you (even if it needs clips or something).

I’m with the others, I would totally go write a negative review. There was no need for her to say that to you.

Wow! I can’t believe someone would say that. I don’t care what size you are, that is just rude!

I hope you find a better store to make your purchase and buy your dress.

How is the shop still in business?  There are not enough girls that small to keep a shop in business!  I’m soo sorry
