I keep seeing gorgeous photos of ladies wearing boleros or lovely lace tops – like the pronovias pergola dress…
I am just wondering can I wear something like that with my dress?.. I am starting to like the look of them also …I’m a little body conscious, well just hate my arms – especially the arm pits! Never liked them! haha!
Anyway can anyone recommend anything.. or just leave it as it is.. and not to worry!

You don’t like your arm pits? Lol that’s the first time I hear that. I think your dress is pretty as it is!

Yes – For some reason I do not have not the best of skin there… plus my arms do need some toning! Trying to get some good definition 😛 not going well as yet! 5.5 months to go too!

Since your dress is very simple, I think it would look great with an off the shoulder lace shrug. Something like one from Rosa Clara, pictured below.
However, I am not sure why you are self conscious. Maybe you would feel more confident if you worked on toning your muscles. You might want to start doing push ups and get a set of set 10 lb dumbells for arm work outs.

@jimjamjuju: your arms look great. i wouldn’t cover yourself up because you are telling yourself you look bad, that is just a lie.

You can *totally* pull off a bolero or something like that with this gown! Plus, it will make it look all the more unique. 99% of the gowns out there are strapless these days, so whenever you do something with a sleeve/shoulder covering, it stands out from the crowd.
I found a removable lace overdress that I loved (pictures here). I wore it for the ceremony and the beginning of the reception, then removed it for dinner and dancing. It was great – like having two dresses in one, without the extra expense of a second gown!

You definitley can, I think it would be pretty. But I also think it’s a beautiful dress without.
