I had the misfortune of falling in love with an accessory from this store. Unfortunately, I live in MN and the store is in IL so I had to do the ordering over the phone and via fax. I’m not sure how the other House of Bride stores are; but this one has given me high blood pressure!
They would only take my cc info over the fax– I had no access to a fax. So they tried to send me the information through the mail. It took 5 tries of them sending it out and 3 months before I actually even received the paperwork!! I found a friend who worked in an office to fax it back for me since the mail was obviously not reliable with them. It took them several weeks before they charged my account. Then you get charged a shipping fee twice; once from the ‘designer’ (and this item was already in the store) and once from the store (which was $10 to send a little comb). I hope that the comb doesn’t come in a yellow envelope or something; although, with the way their service has been so far, I wouldn’t be surprised
The girl I worked with put my wedding date in as July and I ordered the hairpiece in April. It is not the end of July and I still have not gotten my accessory!!! I feel like I should know the phone number by heart… I agree with a previous poster, the only person you get forwarded to is the manager and she NEVERRRR calls back!!!!
I would not recommend this store to anyone– I can’t imagine how seriously frustrated I would be if I had purchased my dress here
