Besides peanut allergies, a lot of people don't like or eat peanut butter. Of course, those people could all eat vanilla. But my choice would be vanilla and chocolate because they're a "classic pairing." It would fit for a wedding.

I love peanut butter but hate it in my ice cream, it seems to always have an odd texture and funny after taste.
I'm kinda meh over chocolate, it really depends on my mood if I like it or not. I think it is your safer bet, though, so I would go with chocolate for your second choice.
I think chocolate fits better with all of your cake flavors.

I lovvvvvvvvve peanut butter anything. I would definitely eat vanilla before chocolate though. Chocolate is VERY low on my list of preferred ice cream flavors. :)
Chocolate gives me migraines. And I love peanut butter, so that would be my pick.
My hubby is also boring with his sweets, his favorite cookie is sugar. I always want to make something new and exciting, but no, he wants sugar.
I love peanut butter cup icecream (as long as it has pieces of real Reese's or something in it)!
I LOVE peanut butter cup ice cream and would definitley eat it! I also think it's not a problem since your other flavor is so universal. Could you consider having a few toppings for the vanilla - chocolate sauce, strawberries, etc so that the people who don't like peanut butter cup but want something a little more interesting can make it however they want it?

I'm secretly ordering ice cream to be delivered to our reception from FI's favorite local shop and so excited about it! Here's the thing, we can pick two flavors and I don't know what to choose. The first flavor is easy, vanilla as it is FI's favorite (boring) flavor and since this is a surprise for him, it's a given. I initially choose my favorite, peanut butter cup, as a second flavor but now I am worried no one will eat the peanut butter cup and we'll have a ton left over. Which brings me back to the classic chocolate. Our cake flavors are carrot, black forest (which would go nicely with peanut butter, no?) and strawberry and cream. Would you eat the peanut butter cup ice cream or do you prefer chocolate?
