Hi bees

My fiance and I are considering having an ice cream wedding cake as we both love ice cream. We are thinking of getting one from either Cold Stone Creamery, or Baskin Robbins, as we know they do wedding cakes.

We are sure the ice cream cake will be delicious, but are not sure how good the cake will look.

Does anyone have any photos they can share of actual ice cream wedding cakes that they have seen?

I've never seen an ice cream wedding cake but that's such a cute idea. My only concern is that the cake would melt if left out for too long and you can't display it because it will melt.

Have you thought of doing an ice cream bar? That way, you could still have the wedding cake like you want without worrying about restrictions and melting but then you could still have your ice cream and have this cute spread of ice cream and toppings! My best friend did that last summer and it was a huge hit! They did chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry Blue Bell ice cream with toppings set out. So good and too cute! They also did ice cream scoops as their favors.
