To keep them from melting, use them fast!
But what would you serve in them? I know drinking is popular at weddings, but do you plan on your guests doing shots?
I think this would be a fun idea for a bachelorette or after-party. That way if they melted and made a mess, it wouldn't be a big deal.
Well there are some big drinkers on my FI's side of the family and in general, I want a very lively, fun reception atmosphere. I thought it might be a fun thing to have there, but nothing too over the top. I'm not sure if I'll have them there or not, just throwing out ideas.
i agree...it could get messy. have you considered doing a vodka luge instead? if you have some big drinkers, then they would probably get a kick out of it. you can get the luge in a shape that is sentimental to you and your FI (or not) and put some different types of vodkas/alcohol near the display, along with regular shot glasses. just a thought.

Idk if this is the right section, but I kind of want to do ice shot glasses at our reception. I think I saw a couple do this on an episode of Cake Boss and Target has some molds for it. Has anyone else done this? How do you keep them from melting once they are out and displayed??
