Not everyone lines the same flavors, so plain.

Could you just provide a few flavors to add? Syrups cost next to nothing Smile

Plain, and please please please, not pre-sweetened. 🙂

Both?  I agree that not everyone likes the same flavors.  Personally, I prefer berry/fruit flavored teas over plain, but not everyone does.

I would also suggest having decaf something available if at all possible.  My parents both have caffeine intolerances and cannot have it. So, I know they sometimes have difficulty at social occasions with no decaf beverage options besides water.  They don’t complain about it, but it’s just something to consider if you can. 🙂

I assume you’re talking Southern US iced tea, not Canadian iced tea (aka Brisk/Nestea).

I think the best way to go would be to have plain unsweetened tea in the glasses/container, and then have flavoured syrups available like a PP mentioned — peach, raspberry, and lemon are the most popular flavours I believe.

@Jenniphyr:  Those are actually American brands, they just also sell them in Canada.

Tea is cheap – i’d just do both if you can :-). If not, I think plain is the safer choice! You could also do sugar syrup for people who want it sweeter, since the granulated stuff won’t dissolve.

Plain tea with syrups and sugars to the side so folks can flavor it to taste.

@mightywombat:  Agreed. You cannot unsweaten sweat tea, but you can sweaten unsweat tea no problem.

@CoffeeandCream:  Instead of sugar, have simple syrup (sugar melted into water). You can make it yourself or you can buy it at Target, Starbucks, etc.

Some people (myself included) cannot use artificial sweateners, though I just drink it unsweat.

please have sugar, too- I know a lot of people (myself included) that refuse to drink artificial stuff (although like brenda, above-I drink it plain)
