So I have been on a search for my wedding band. A very exhausting search. I found a great halo band and was considering changing the stones, but it seems it puts it out of my price range. I was considering a custom band, but again, out of the price range.
We had to go to the mall to send my ring for repairs because somehow I took a hunk of gold out of it. I’m not complaining much, as it gets redipped and all sparkly new.
While we were there we looked around stores for bands.
I tried this one on and fell in love. It is everything I didn’t want. A row of diamonds, different size diamonds, ect.
The greatest thing was it sits high so it actually sits pretty flush with my e-ring in the middle. The band is like 5 sizes too big, but I snapped a pic. What do you guys think?
I needed to find a band that can sit by itself as well.

A) Your tattoos are really cute.
B) It looks really pretty and sparkly. I don’t mind the gap, but am not a fan of curved bands. (no judgment on anyone, they interfere with my borderline-OCD need to have things lined up and parallel) The only concern I might have is that it competes with your e-ring, which is absolutely gorgeous. Maybe something with a bot more metal, like one of the braided-look bands, something like that? Sort of like the band in this set: http://www.weddingdaydiamonds.com/store/jewelry/ladies-bands/14k-white-gold-braided-diamond-wedding-band.html

@iiiEllie: Good luck!
@soontobeMrsBoo: A) Thanks
B) The band is actually not curved at all! I huge requirement because I want it to look ok by itself. My fiance brought up the whole competition thing and honestly, both rings symbolize our love. I don’t care if one is bigger than the other. Ironically, my e-ring is .6 carats more than that band!
@ceebree: Thank you ladies!
@fleetian4life: Of all the anxiety I feel picking out, I can’t imagine a man’s anxiety picking out the engagement ring! My fiance got lucky by me picking mine!

@MissFemmeFatale: i think they look amazing together. i love your ering. very pretty and that band is perfect with it. they compliment each other beautifully. it’s nice b/c you will be able to wear that band alone too. i have an eternity band that i love to wear alone or with just a plain band (w/o ering). your band will be very versatile. nice choice.

@MissFemmeFatale: Seriously! I hear that! I stressed so much about finding a band that was just right for what I wanted (but…. I couldn’t really describe what I wanted effectively, so you can see how this lead to more stress!)
If you love it, buy it! Don’t think too much or over complicate it. 🙂
