My photographer is coming in from California to shoot my wedding. I miraculously won a wedding package, including albums and digi copies=rights! We are definitely planning to give her a good tip, but I wanted to personalize it a bit with a "new york" gift basket with things that are pretty unique to NY.

So far I have a bottle of wine from a finger lakes winery and a bottle of maple syrup from made in FI's hometown.

Any suggestions for NY items that I could include?

if you are from ithaca then you for sure need an ITHACA IS GORGES shirt!! oh and maybe some spiedie marinade. mmmm i miss those! hope this helps!!

This is a great idea! You can also do an "i love ny" magnet or something along those lines. Maybe wine from the Hamptons? Or beer? Public House or Blue Point are both Long Island beers. Maybe a New York movie - You've Got Mail, An Affair to Remember, Music & Lyrics, etc.? Maybe a photography book of New York?
