I had beads and trim/sequins on mine and while they were fairly small, they all added up to enough resistance to keep it from going nutty in the wind.
Mine has some beading along the edge. I hope that it's enough to keep it in place.

We have all seen Mrs. Quiche's "Attack of the Veil". I do not personally plan on wearing a veil to my wedding but someone made the suggestion to put small magnets in the dress and on the veil (obviously concealed by some pretty disguise) and no problem. I immediately imagined huge black magnets on a white veil but then she showed me her pictures and you see NOTHING. She used white magnets I believe?! and they were covered by the lace on the edge of the veil & you wouldn't even know they were there. Just an idea. I would have never thought of it so I had to pass it on!
