I’m still trying to make original dress, my Lazaro, work out at least for the reception but that dress just does not love me back.
I had my third fitting today (I am bad, I never told my seamstress I may not wear it because she’ll kill me) and now the hem looks too short to me. It’s about an inch off the floor. You can’t see my shoes unless I kick them, but the dress isn’t sweeping the floor either. She tells me that’s how it’s supposed to be for me to not step on the dress. To me it makes the dress looks stupid. So if I want that dress for the reception, I gotta get lower heeled shoes. Also my chances of reselling the dress just got reduced by a couple inches 🙁 Now I gotta find a buyer shorter than 5’6″ with heels.
So where should the ideal hem fall? I need to what’s the right way know so I don’t make a mistake with my ceremony dress also.
