A sling/carrier thing! It takes longer than you expect to get used to going from a semi independent human to needing 5 hands to tend to everyone! Lol

maybe you could team up with someone and get them a nice double stroller?

i was also going to suggest double stroller (find out which one they want)

or hire a cleaning service for them if they don’t already have one.

i did with our first baby.  so worth the money.

I would not buy them a carrier or sling only because I feel like that’s a really personal item that doesn’t work for everyone. I bought a bunch of different ones to try after I had my DS and ended up returning half of the “popular” ones because they weren’t comfortable/didn’t suit my body type.

I like PP’s suggestions of figuring out if/what double stroller they might want and teaming up with someone to buy that?

Otherwise, for a second child or even a baby shower gift, I almost always do a hand made gift basket. I’ll purchase a cute basket and fill it with a bunch of must have items, depending on the person anything from diapers, wipes, clothes (especially plain white onsies in multiple sizes), maybe bibs, baby blankets or swaddle blankets…things that will help the mom out. I usually put a bottle of wine in there for mom too (if I know her well and she likes that kind of thing! lol)
