I don’t really want to do just father/daughter and then mother/son dances at our wedding. Instead I would like one song where fiance and I will dance with both moms and dads. I don’t really want some lame, boring, sappy song but I’m having a hard time finding something I really like. All of us are in to country and classic rock. Any ideas?

@tanya4285: “In My Life” by The Beatles – my husband and his mom danced to this at our wedding. He didn’t want anything too sappy or too long and we found this was perfect.

@tanya4285: The first song that comes to mind for me is “Still the One” by Orleans. It’s a 1970s song. I played it at our wedding for my parents because mom kind of thinks of it as their song. It’s adorable and upbeat!

We did Stand By Me By Ben E King. It was such a great tempo…not too slow not too fast. We also did a joint father/daughter mother/son dance.
