Zales has a thin 1.8 or 2 mm diamond band in rose gold that is wave shaped – dainty and unique and could hug around your pretty pear leaving a little whimsical gap 🙂 Saw it in store but not on their website.

I’m not sure what your budget is, but I think these would look nice. You could always get your ring enlarged a bit so they could fit under the bezel, or if the bezel is mounted on the band instead on through the band, you wouldnt have any problems!

MackieBleu: I am in love with your ring since I saw your gorgeous wedding recap 😉

Would something like this fit?

This same etsy seller (artemer) as other nice bands like this:

MackieBleu:  Hi there, I really loved the Artemer pear-shaped bezel from the moment I first saw it in the Etsy store too and am in the midst of custom making a similar one now. I was very thrilled to find that you have one from them and am just wondering if you could share how the back of the setting looks like? Is it an open back? I had wanted to close off the back leaving just a small hole, but that’s apparently bad for light performance and also makes it difficult to clean the diamond. Would you be able to share a picture of yours please?

MackieBleu:  Thanks for replying so quickly! I see – so it’s completely open at the back, that’s what the jewelers I went to had advised as well. Really appreciate the pictures!

I had just set up a poll actually, because I am having this dilemma of whether to get the bezel as it is, or to add milgrain around the edge. You can take a look at the diamond my SO bought from James Allen as well if you’re interested – http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/poll-pear-shaped-diamond-in-bezel-with-or-without-milgrain/
