Does anyone have any ideas for bachelorette parties for mostly non-drinkers? I like to drink but 3 of of 5 of my BM’s don’t drink. A couple people will want to drink (a lot), but the majority are very uncomfortable about alcohol. MY MOH isn’t planning this, which I am totally okay wtih. What are some good compromises or non-drinking parties? Did anyone else do this? Thanks!!

You could have a passion party 😉

you do dinner and go see a show or play of some kind. something fun you dont normally do! and there are lots of day stuff like going to the spa or some other fun activity you don’t do all the time. think of what a tourist would do in your city and its likely something you havent done in a while and is super fun!

I had 2 non drinking parties. One was a surprise trip to Vermont. We went apple picking, food tours, went to Ben & Jerrys, a play, etc. The second was local, we went to a jewelry making class and then to a friend’s for food and games. I’ve also been to a pottery painting party.

My girls and I were talking about this the other day. And they came up with taking a pole dancing class together and then maybe dinner after. I think we are going to do it. It should be pretty funny.

Do you like sports? Go to a baseball game! That way, you can drink, and if others don’t want to, they can enjoy the game!

If they’re at all artistic there are usually studios around that let you have parties in a theme- like clay painting studios or beading studios (it sounds cheesy but the parties are super fun!)
my FI and I are going to probably do a co-ed party and have a big paintball game (bridal party vs groomsmen- but we get more ammo!) then a bbq at my family ranch- I’m not a drinker but anyone who wants to can do so afterwards and not feel awkward around me ‘cos hey, it’s a bbq =)

omg this is a great idea! It’s a really awesome contrast to the typical boys bachelor party of going to a strip club! Great idea, hun!

Who says bachelorette parties have to be a wild, druken crazy events? Some ladies may choose to do so, but do what’s most comfortable for the majority. If it were up to me, I’d have a spa day. You can go to a day spa or resort spa for either a day or a weekend having a relaxing time instead of getting drunk! Other fun and creative ideas: take group dancing lessons, go on a gourmet cooking class, go on a food tasting tour (if not wine tasting), go on a weekend getaway to someplace fun (Las Vegas, DisneyWorld?) if you can afford it…the possibilities are nearly endless.

We’re going hiking, and then to a spa. Just pick an activity you love, and go with it – it’ll be great.
