cooking class, pottery, hula hooping classes, something like that? Followed by a nice dinner and drinks for those who want to drink?
I am spending the day at the spa. ALL DAY. It's a whole bachelorette day.
I saw a great post in offbeatbride the other day! One of them I particularly remember is a picture/scavenger hunt. I don't have the link but it should be within the first couple of posts that come up.
ooo a pottery thing sounds good. We're thinking for mine just like a simple dinner & then a old school slumber party :-P
I don't want to do anything crazy or drink or anything. I'm still trying to think of something fun.
I'm kinda similar in that I don't want a crazy clubbin' party. We're thinking a spa day, maybe dinner at a fondue restaurant, and then maybe some kind of chill music or something afterward. :) But it's a long time away so we aren't at all sure yet.
We're going up to Lake Geneva and staying at the Grand Geneva resort and spa. Just a girls weekend away. My sister is my MOH, and she was able to get a suite for the main festivities room, and enough rooms for the rest of the guest, she's bringing in lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning and it's $120 per person, which is a lot less than a night on the town in Chicago. We plan to go shopping, hang out at the hot tub, etc. A weekend away with the girls just sounded so perfect to me. And there are so many options of things to do while we're there.
I definitely second a spa day. I think that would be nice and relaxing and everyone would have a good time :]
What about a tarot card or palm reader? My sister was going to do this for me, but someone convinced her not to do it in case the reader said something bad about the wedding or marriage. I still think it would be fun, and a good idea.
I know you said your friends don't drink, but I thought I'd throw this out there anyways. (My sister is pretty religious too, we drink, but obviously not in excess). We're all getting dressed up and spending a day wine-tasting. We mapped out all of the wineries in the area that offer free wine tasting and are getting dressed up in bright colorful dresses with big hats and accessories! (I'm excited for our pictures!)
We also got super lucky because my friend's father let us use his beach house for free, so we're be staying there that night and probably making a large dinner together and having a girls night in. My oldest sister is still breast-feeding, so we've got our sober driver from winery to winery!

Hi bees. Months ago one of my bridesmaids told me that she would plan my bachelorette party. She and another bridesmaid (both friends from college) have gotten distant and we rarely talk. I still want a bachelorette party but I'm not counting on anyone to plan it for me.
My maid of honor and the other two bridesmaids are kind of religious and don't drink, club, or things like that. What are some things I can do with them? I don't want to look back and be sad that I never had any sort of bachelorette party. Ideas would be very helpful.
