What about satin ribbon? Just get a kinda thick size (1.5 to 2 inches should be good) and try to get double-sided. You could tie the ribbon in a bow in the back or on the side. Just paint the edges with clear nail polish or school glue to the cut edges, to keep them from unraveling. You'd only need 2 or 3 rolls of ribbon, depending on how many bridesmaids you have, and what size they are. I'd get an extra roll of your best guess, just to be safe.
or what about a bit of bling to add to the dresses (but not too much, of course not to upstage the bride! :)
What came to mind was something simple - like a row of rhinestones. Found this one on etsy, through a simple search. Then you could do both the champagne and ivory colored sashes for them, maybe alternate?

DB has TONS of sashes! They have champagne and ivory - if you go in the store, they have a separates section with the different sashes! I know what colour you are talking about (I spend WAY too much time in that store, it's sad.) and I think the champagne coloured, wider sash (style 83001) would look perfect. OR they have some new things like the oranganza looking sashes (called horse hair?!) or this one: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Crystal-Sash-VW370001_Accessories-Sashes-and-Coverage-Options-All-Sashes-Coverage-Options.
Yeah I agree DB does have lots of sash options, perhaps you can go on with the BMs and try on different sashes with the dress
Thanks for all the ideas! I ran into David's today (unfortunately the bridesmaids all live far so they couldn't come) and I like their Champagne color with the light pink. This is my fav http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Grosgrain-Ribbon-Sash-VW370044_Accessories-Sashes-and-Coverage-Options-All-Sashes-Coverage-Options but 38$ is definitely overpriced for it. I'm leaning toward this one in champagne: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_2-Inch-Satin-Ribbon-3550_Accessories-Sashes-and-Coverage-Options-All-Sashes-Coverage-Options. It's way long but I like the idea of wrapping it a couple times!
Thanks and please pass any other bridesmaid sash ideas this way!

My bridesmaids will be wearing this bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal. I really love the straps and skirt length and it looks so cute on everyone, but I'm not a fan of the belt on the dress. It's easily removable, but I want to find a sash that they can wear! The dress is a very pale pink color (the color on the website is nothing like the actual color). I want to find something in a champagne or ivory color. Do you guys have any ideas of what type of sash and where we could buy them? I've looked on Etsy a bit but haven't quite found something yet (there are so many options on there it's kind of overwhelming!). thanks for any help!!
