We had photos set out on the buffet tables, just placed randomly. Also, they were in several places in our church.
What about a "Generations" table? I think Mrs Cupcake did one. It basically had a bunch of photos all over it in various frames at different heights.
Or what about a "family tree"? As you're doing an outdoor reception that could be really cute. A wish tree with family photos strung up on it instead of guests writing cards and such.
what's your wedding feel/theme? there are tons of different ways to display photos, but some more appropriate to certain weddings than others =)
If its outside how about those cute little picket signs people use to direct guests where to go with photos decoupaged on them?

We aren't doing a slideshow b/c we're having an outdoor reception. I like the idea of pics on a line, but so many of my friends have done it. http://www.lazybride.com/lazy_brides_blog/2009/05/lazy-n-frugal-guide-photos-on-clothesline.html
Any other creative ideas for displaying pics of the bride and groom, family, etc. during the reception?
