Our venue only has long banuquet tables, so that’s what we’ll be using…I’ve had trouble thinking of nice looking centerpieces that are gold (colors are blue and gold) and tie in with our semi-formal meets rustic theme. What I mean by that is the venue is a very pretty lodge and I want the decor to look nice.
I really like these candles, and I can make them pretty easily. But I’m not sure if I can just line several along the table and call it good.

@marinesfiance: One of our colors is bronze, autumn theme. We are doing acrons and pinecones dusted with bronze embossing powder and heated, like glitter but won’t flake off, in tall vases.

This might sound weird but here goes…..
Gold is huge color for the Christmas season…. I would go and check out dollar stores and see what they have in terms of ornaments and candles….. you might get some inspiration.
i would also google image gold centerpieces and see what comes up… there is a lot of cool pictures….
I think your candles will work…. perhaps get different size ones?????

I used gold marbles to accent my candle centerpieces.
