I wanted to do something really special for my mom during the wedding reception, …other than a mother/daughter dance, which i have seen done. I have been trying to come up with something and have no great ideas at all.
Can anyone help?

I read somewhere about a bride who, instead of having a bouquet toss, gave the flowers to her mom. I thought that that was a very sweet gesture!

Maybe you could dedicate a song to her? I was just listening to Carrie Underwood’s new album, and she has a sweet song on there called Mama’s Song—it’s a song to her mom on the day she gets married. I started singing along in the car and the tears just started flowing! Or you could have your mom and dad dance after your first dance. Or you could ask her to give a toast. I like Pudding’s flower idea, too. : )

I like the dedicating a song to her idea, maybe you can present her with some flowers at that time?
