I am getting married and trying to come up with ideas for a beach ceremony.I am not sure how many songs I need and myself,Mother-In-Law and brides maids all have different opinions on the order or service from procesional to recessional.
My fiance is Hindu and I am a Christion and we are having a christion ceremony. The reception will be a bollywood style event so we will make both families happy 🙂 BUT we are still trying to come up with a great song for our first dance which we are including at the reception.
Please help.Any suggestions.

I had my bridesmaids/MOH/flower girl walk to one song, and then I walked to a different song. We used two songs by Jason Mraz — “Lucky” for the bridesmaids, and “I’m Yours” for me. I found alternative versions of each song, so they weren’t the versions that get played on the radio all the time. “Lucky” was an English/Spanish version (my family is Cuban) and “I’m Yours” was a live version with a guest drummer that gave it a more tropical vibe.
So many possible choices for a first dance… What kind of music do you like? Would you prefer to slow dance or want something a little faster? Do you want something with a tropical sound to it? One that’s especially appropriate for a beach wedding is “Sea of Love” by the Honeydrippers. We used “In the Colors” by Ben Harper.

@NotYourTypicalBride: Thanks for the reply.I like tropical music and I will look into see of love as well. The two song may not be a bad idea but I will be skipping the traditional wedding march
