We are getting married in 33 short days, and I am looking for ideas on what we should get our parents. My FH parent’s are still married, but my parent’s are divorced. Any ideas on what to get our parents?
When should we give them said presents? Should we make a speech of some kind when giving them?
Any ideas are welcome, I’m clueless at this point 🙁

Etsy has really cute hankies that are embroidered with a sweet wedding-day message – I think most parents would love that. We’re getting each of our 4 parents one of those, and also an IOU for a nice framed family photo from the wedding. Not super original, but hey, parents love personalized sappy stuff 🙂

@MrsTVLover: I did this, except with the wedding photos of DH and me with each set of parents.

I’m also curious about this! We already gave them pictures but I’m looking at having something personalized for them – guess I’ll take a look around Etsy!

Our presents were given after the wedding.
We sent thank you notes to them with the rest of the people and told them they would each receive a personalized wedding album. I designed and printed them using mypublisher.com
My parents also got a gift card to bedandbreakfast.com since they paid for a large portion of the wedding.

We’re doing the hankies and we’ll either do the personalized frame (what we’re getting the officiant- FI’s grandfather) or the album.
