I am using Head Over Feet by VSQ for the processional – we lengthened it so everyone will be walking to it and then we lengthened the dramatic pause about 50 seconds before the end (when I will enter).

Using Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder for the recessional.

@nl:  if you have a spotify account, search for vitamin string, all of their songs are listed on there and you’ll get to listen to them in their entirety without having to buy anything. Signing up for the account is free.

We are having the VSQ version of “something” by the Beatles for the  wedding party processional, then “across the universe” (VSQ) for the bridal processional. The recessional is going to be All You Need Is Love (not sure what version yet)

@nl:  I’m planning to use Vitamin String Quartet’s version of “Say Yes” by Elliott Smith for my entrance.  We haven’t decided on the rest of our ceremony music yet, but we are planning to use VSQ throughout the ceremony and throughout cocktail hour as well.

I second @Jayceedee:‘s recommendation.  Spotify is awesome, and perfect when you’re trying to choose wedding music.  My fiance and I literally spent like 4-5 hours listening to a bunch of different VSQ songs one night and making a list of all the songs we want to include during the ceremony and cocktail hour.  It was really fun, and it got us both really excited about the wedding.

I’m using VSQ’s version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. I love that majority of people will recognize it (young and old) because it’s such a classic song.

I’m planning to use VSQ’s cover “Marching Bands of Manhattan” by Death Cab for Cutie and if we have FI walk in (unsure since the ceremony site is a public park), we will use VSQ’s cover of “Here Comes Your Man” by The Pixies.

@nl:  Try searching for an instrumental of The Magnetic Fields “Book of Love”, since that’s the original version and Peter Gabriel covered it.

My processional choice was a little out there, but for the recessional, we did VSQ’s “Welcome to the Jungle” and then used Guns ‘n Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” for our entrance to the reception.

I’m sticking with the standard here comes the bride for when I enter but for everyone else I’m using VSQ’s cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love”
