Balloons. I love balloons!

Fairy lights…….possibly even better than balloons.

Flowers – a few flowers per table can make a huge impact.

What look to you want to go for, a friend of mine decorated with bunting. Looked amazing

Do you have a theme? Accessorize!

Our theme was travel, so we decorated with globes and suitcases. I also had photos from various places we’d travelled to around the room.

@JazzieB:  I would cover the pool table with a sheet of plywood and a king size sheet and use it for your refreshment table.

@JazzieB:  You could put something waterproof down ( aplastic dropcloth for painting?) over the felt of the pool table first to protect it against any accidental spills. Then the boards, more plastic, then the sheet. that would pretty much guarantee no damage to the pool table.

@JazzieB:  You could cover the vending machines with a large piece of cardboard or foamcore that you had painted to use as a backdrop for photos.

Or cover a large piece of cardboard or foamcore with paper flowers, rosettes or pinwheels.

Did you see the great rosette backdrop posted earlier today?
