Greetings everyone! My fiance and I recently got engaged and we want a very small wedding. Neither of us are religious, and we really just want my parents and his daughter to be present. We live in Colorado, and are looking for ideas for a place to get married. We got engaged on a trip outside the country so are really interested in getting married in Colorado. Any ideas for such a small group would be much appreciated!

Congrats! Not sure where in Colorado you are.. but Chack out http://www.denver.org/denver-weddings/meeting-event-facilities
you can narrow it down to the number of people 10-50 for smaller venues. The possibilities are endless with a smaller wedding (IMO) There are so many nice restaurants that have small private rooms. As far at the ceremony goes, did you want it at the same please? You know in Colorado you can solemnize yourselves, you don’t need an officiant… so you really could do it all in the same place if you want to.

Congratulations! The venue where I got married at , The Black Canyon Inn, has three different ceremony spots that can handle just you two all the way up to 175 people. They also have a wonderful restaurant on site, which we rented the whole thing out and had the reception in there, and the food is amazing. The only difficult thing is that it is up in Estes Park… and with the roads washed out it can be hard to get there right now. But depending on when you are looking to get married the roads could be completely fixed by then! Here is the link to the wedding details on their website http://www.blackcanyoninn.com/site/16946/Weddings.aspx
