Check out this blog post on long tables by Miss Peacock: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/05/09/the-long-and-short-of-it-4/
Why wouldn't standard escort cards and table numbers work? We're having long tables and just splitting 1 table up into 3 sections, so there will be three different table numbers at each area. We're also doing placecards though, so people will have a seat with their name if they get confused.

Hiii bees,
I have long tables on the lower floor (2 rectangle tables connected together) and round tables on the upper floor. (sounds weird but the upper floor is just 2 steps up from the lower floor).. I was struggling with how to create table cards telling people where they are sitting... any brilliant suggestions??
any ideas would be appreciated!!
