I like the locket a lot!
You could light candles, or put roses on empty seats. I think the roses on empty seats are especially appropriate for recently deceased family members. You could also make a note in your program.
I am having a little "rememberance tree" at our wedding, and on the branches I am goingn to hang little photos in tiny frames of family members who were important to us who are no longer with us. My aunt suggested it after she saw it at another wedding. I'll try and find a photo!

Hello-
I am getting married in June and I am trying to find a way to incorporate my grandparents and my Fiances grandparents who are no longer with us. I dont want it to be deressing but i would love to ackowledge them in some way. For my grandma I have a locket and I will attach it to my flower bouqet... so when i walk down the isle she will be with me every step....
any other ideas?
