Hi Bay Area brides!
I need your guys’ help! We have an extremely tight wedding day schedule: 1. ceremony at the Mission Santa Clara at noon; 2. wedding party and bride/groom portraits; 3. tea ceremony at his parents’ house in Los Altos; 4. reception starts at 5 in Cupertino.
Originally we had planned to take the photos at the Stanford campus but my DOC suggested that we don’t waste time traveling from Santa Clara to Stanford and we’d only end up with less than an hour of time for photos. Do you guys have any pretty locations in mind between Santa Clara and Los Altos?
(We’ve already though of the Hakone Gardens in Saratoga but there’s an entrance fee and we have a huge wedding party and plus, they require a photography permit.) Thanks guys!

Are you looking for outdoor photos? I live in Mountain View, and can think of a couple places that you might want to go look at in person.
Shoreline Park (right next to the bay, if you wanted pictures next to the water, and there’s also a boating lake): http://www.shorelinelake.com/
Cuesta Park (off Grant road, right on the border of Mountain View and Los Altos, nothing special really, but it’s a big park with lots of trees, I’m sure you could find some nice spots for outdoor pictures): http://www.google.com/images?q=cuesta%20park%20mountain%20view&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=886&bih=465
Montalvo Arts Center (in Saratoga, not sure if you need permission for photos, but they have beautiful gardens and hiking trails): http://montalvoarts.org/programs/villa_grounds/
Hope this helps, and good luck in your search! I had a similar problem looking for photo locations, but was constrained by not going further south than Menlo Park.

What about the Rose Garden in San Jose. It’s an exit away from Valley Faire in Santa Clara
