It looks to be about a 30″ (length) veil. I believe they are called “waist” length veils. Hope this helps!

Hi Sapphire!!

A rule of thumb I’ve started sticking strickly to is have pictures at the ready, especially when dealing with any vendor. It’s been my experience that I can say one thing to one person and it’ll mean a completely different thing to them than it does to someone else even if I find myself educated in that industry’s “lingo.”  I’m not sure if that’s because of my particular location but having a photograph of what you want is the best way to beat any confusion.

I guess to best answer your question is to echo the previous poster by saying that yes, it’s a waist length veil with a detailed or ribbon edge. :))

Hi, these are the dimensions I go by when I make veils (I have an etsy shop)

elbow length – 45″ wide x 30″ long

fingertip length – 54″ wide x 36″ long

chapel length – 72″ wide x 90″ long

cathedral length 72″ wide x 108″ long

Some veil vendors may be a little longer/shorter or wider/narrower but I think this is the industry standard.

Hope this helps 🙂
