Lol, that's what I was thinking when I saw that post. I'm in the same boat as you. I prefer to be comfortable on my wedding day, so flats it is! I'll let you know if I find anything, but I am also looking for flats in blue.
Check that site out. They have 13 pages of them. there might be something you like.
@Bichon Frise: I know right. lol I have been looking and I have seen some nice ones, but nothing that really wowed me. Y do heels seem more gorgeous then flats? lol
@Earlybride: If you do end up wanting the look of heels but you want comfort look for something with a platform. They are really comfortable also break them in. I wear mine all the time at home and the more I wear them the more comfortable they get. What a friend of mine does is warms them up and then wears them. Try turning the overn on and just kind of hold them there or even set them over a register for a bit. They will break in faster that way.
I find heel just make the legs and butt look so good! They also make your posture better too. But flats are way more cumfy and you could always get a blingy pair for the reception.
@Earlybride: aw im glad to have inspired you.
are you looking for ivory? You can find tons of totally blinged flats.
I love my flats. They have a tiny wedge and they are extremely comfortable, yet still formal looking.

@Earlybride: I think it's the sex appeal that heels have, plus they make your legs look great. But I'm going to be in a big poofy ballgown, so I doubt anyone will see my feet. Plus, I'm 5'6", so I'm not worried about looking short either.
@SarahSmilesDec28: I love those! Where did you get them and what is the designer?
@Bichon Frise: Was looking and I saw these. Maybe they are what u are looking for??
Never mind. tHESE MIGHT be too blingy?
@MASPA: Boy was I inspired. So gorgeous! If I can find that in a flat, even with a wedge, wow! lol
@MASPA: While in your search, did u find flats or something that came close to yours on the website u used?

I like those above. I looked some more and I found these. Vera Wang Label 'Luna' Flat. WOW.

Heres the link. I was trying to get a nice purple one, but cant seem to find any that I like. I do like these though for purple shoes.

So we'll see. Purple or white. Hmmmm.....
You can get some flats and attach a pretty broach, pin, or adorn it with some jewels.
@Earlybride: i'm sorry i didnt. but the sparkle is just an applique, maybe purchase something similar and attach it to a plain flat?
I would find a flat that I liked then apply a shoe clip

you can also get rhinestone appliques to extend the design along the side of the shoes

or buy loose crystals and make a design like the leaf on the OP.
Look on Esty under Wedding Shoes Flats
I love these from Esty...they are just expensive...but i am sure you can find cheaper ones unless you want to spend 200!
It is very hard to find flats that are really extrodinarily pretty! I have my shoes now & I'm going to be adding bling to them myself because I just feel like they need a little something "extra"....

I had the Vera Wang Luna flats for my wedding...I see a couple of people have already posted them, but just wanted to echo the thought that they are GORGEOUS!

I got them on zappos, but I don't see them there anymore. They are Me Too and the shoe is called Stellina. They come in a variety of colors.
Ahhha, here they are:

@MrsNeutrino: I'm wearing the Vera Wang Lunas for my wedding! I actually splurged on them last summer to wear to a friend's wedding. FI told me I was crazy, so I'm happy to "justify" the splurge now that I'll be wearing them on our big day. :)
@PeachyBee: thats awesome.. I still want to splurge on them :-( but I already bought my shoes.. so I will stick to looking for used ones :)

Boy would I LOVE to get some flats that looks this pretty! Can flats look gorgeous as heels? I cannot wear heels because my feet hurt within 5 minutes of wearing them, so flats are my only option.
Bees, if you have seen flats that look as pretty as these please let me know.
