I'll go:
If you met me off of weddingbee, you would be surprised that I have no southern accent and am 5'10".
Now you go!
That I'm kind of sarcastic, and a little bit hyper. :)
If you met me off Weddingbee you would be surprised that I have a potty mouth and enjoy playing Lego Wii Indiana Jones just a leeeeettle bit too much, LOL!
that i used to be a bad girl!I never ever wanted to get married, refused to wear a dress, never wanted to settle down and hated planning anything.
I have moved areas since my "change" and i dont share that info too often but anyone who does know says they could never picture me as a bad girl :D hehe
this is fun..
I'm actually pretty quiet, but if we share a common interest, I have lots to say :)
I am also a huge nerd. No one EVER guesses that. People always seem really surprised when I tell them I play video games. FI and I actually got chatting becuase we both had a love for old DOS games. But I guess I don't look like the stereotypical "geek" girl, whatever that means ;)
I curse like a sailor, and.. I say completely random things that usually make people laugh, but I'm serious.. LOL
That I have only one girlfriend and I'm totally fine with having only one very close friend.
Hee hee, @msmonicka...I would not be surprised that you're a sassy chick. I think your posts are sassy here too! You tell it like it is
@LaborofLove...Im 5'11 and I wear a size 10-11 shoe!!
@bakerella...I 2nd the potty mouth! And I love playing Wii too!
I dont wear any makeup except eye liner
I have asthma
ooo and I was born with a six toe on my left foot! Bet you didnt know that!
D.Marie...that is awesome! :) I did NOT know any of those things, so I guess I would have been surprised!
Keep 'em coming everyone! FI and roomie sis are out for the night... it's just little ole me keeping myself entertained!
I am a 5' whipper snapper - true Scorpio in every which way and more.
However - in a crowd I am quiet, I observe before I speak. When I speak its usually what most think and don't say. I do watch what I say before I speak.
In a nutshell, I come across as a short girl with a hard heart - I'm not, I am an emotional softy!
you'd be surprised that I too was never into weddings... this will be the 4th time in 33 years I'll have worn a dress LOL! also I'm a nerd, and myself and my FI have farting contests. OK that last one is kinda sick... but also just proves that he is THE ONE!!! lmao
Oooh, fun! I don't have a very strong southern accent, despite growing up in Texas (but it does like to sneak up on me every once in a while!), and I tend to be really sarcastic in person. I've actually offended a lot of people who don't know me very well, but I'm just not shy at all and I'm not afraid to bust out the sarcasm.
i'm a goofball and love to be silly!
i also swear quite a bit but i'm trying to give it up for Lent. :D
That I'm never punctual. Ever. Even though I'm in the military. And even though I had a 14 page chronological itinerary for my wedding party. And even though I painstakingly plan everything to the last detail. But still can't seem to be anywhere on time!
Oooh I feel you on the never being anywhere on time bit... If you met me off of bee, you'd be surprised at how short I am.... lol I am 4 '11, but I always tell people that I am (in an aloof and somewhat detached manner) ..."oh, right at 5 ft" and I say it like I'm not really paying attention to the question they just asked and as though I am unsure about how tall (well, short, really). Depending on the severity of "hooker heels," as I call them, that I wear on our big day, I may end up jumping up into my FH's arms for our first kiss as husband and wife. We'll see... I'd hate to jump up as he leans down and like knock him out or something. LOL.
@krissycake - I'm freakishly early to everything too! I seem to have a phobia of being late.
@amanda and krissy... same here!!! I am always like 15 minutes early to work. Good thing my boss never really says anything!
I am very, very quiet. Like, people forget that I'm around pretty often.
I'm always either 10 minutes early or 10 minutes late, never "on time."
I'm addicted to ESPN and can keep up with any guy when it comes to what is going on in the sports world.
I also have a potty mouth, but I am trying to change that (though I doubt it will happen, haha).
That I am painfully shy the first few times that I meet you. Once I get comfortable..watch out bc you will never shut me up and you will totally forget that I hardly said "hi" to you when first meeting.
I randomily will fall over if I'm standing up for long periods of time, continously trip over my feet, walk into walls/doors (not bc there is anything medically wrong with me-I just don't pay attention to my surrondings sometimes!!) but have perfect balance when it comes to dance, standing on a ladder or moving large peices of furniture.
@scissors - for some reason, the whole 'can't sit still' thing doesn't really surprise me.
That I am super shy when first meeting but totally chatty once I get comfortable.
That I don't swear...ever!
That I am a complete and utter worry wart...about pretty much everything :)
This is such a neat thread!
-when I was younger (elementary through high school) I was freakishly early to everything. I HATED being late and would panic if I thought I was going to be late. I made it all the way to graduation without every having had a tardy in school...then college hit and it's been downhill from there.
-I am the queen of useless, random knowledge. I can rarely find someone to play trivia games with because I know all kinds of pointless things that are only good for winning trivia games.
-You also wouldn't know I'm 21 since I look like I'm 13 and routinely get asked what I want to be when I grow up, where I go to school, where my parents are, etc.
@lily poor you! 12 :( Same for eeh, 13... I hate when people assume. I look older because I'm tall, I always have... I don't know why!
@lily - I feel you on that one. I interned at a middle school last year, and I got mistaken for a 6th grader. Awesome.
@amanda lynn: dido for me! I had a practicum at a middle school where all the students had to wear id's around their neck. I was walking witha student to the library and the principal tried to give me a detention for not having my student id.
