I wish peonies were effing around for my wedding. Every florist I have spoken with says that peonies go up in price because they start to die in June! UGH! My neighbor and a few friends have peony bushes and guess what? They all have died in the last week. *cries* BUT I found cabbage roses and they look exactly like peonies. ^_^
Pretty! Those are all from your mother's garden? I wish I lived in Colorado! ;-)
@Miss Tattoo That's odd! My wedding is in a week and i'm having Peonies... My florist didn't say a thing about timing.

I would be having these flowers. And they would be all organically grown and pesticide free and local! Compliments of my Madre! It makes me slightly sad to think that I won't get the opportunity to use them for the wedding, silly November being cold! Front one is all garden roses, back two are peonies!
