My color is like a sky blue with metalic accents- my flowers are going to be white with maybe some blue hydrangeas sp?
I did fake flowers, so I was able to get ones in my colors (turquoise, aqua and black and white). Not sure about live flowers...
my main color is navy, and due to limited navy blue flowers i added hot pink as an accent. my flowers are white roses, white stock, blue delphinium, light pink mini gerber daisies, and hot pink alstromeria. it's such a bummer that there are limited blue flowers, and the ones that exist are somewhat expensive
I plan to have navy bridesmaids dresses. I'd like to carry a deep red bouquet, and I'd have my bridesmaids carry white bouquets. I'm a big fan of the single flower arrangement.
My bridesmaids will be in blue (cobalt/royal), so they'll probably carry white or green (accent color) flowers. I'm madly in love with hydrangea, so I'm leaning towards that greenish hydrangea, maybe mixed with smaller white flowers, but it's not set yet.
my colors were tiffany blue and silver so I used a lighter blue than navy...but fiftyflowers.com has some awesome blue flowers...I ended up using orchids and I believe they have a darker blue color than what I used
My colors are light blue and yellow but I don't really care for the look of blue flowers so we're using yellow and white flowers :)
My colors are navy and gray. We are going with white garden roses, gardenias, and stephanotis, with blue delphinium orchids and blue veronica as accents, and plenty of bear grass and greenery since I like the looser look better. Oh, and also putting baby's breath in too.
A really pretty blue flower is delphinium... Our colors are blue and lime green (easy flower color!) and the majority of our flowers will be white - we're using color in table linens and accessories.
One of my colors is a navy blue as well. My compliment color is a pale blush pink. And hints of peach. So I am having pale pale pink flowers with white flowers. Peonies and white english roses.
My main color is navy & we're using white flowers... although now I'm second guessing it because another bee told me that one of her colors was white & it didn't show up in photos!
I love miss yaps ideas & colors :)
My colors are navy & ice blue with a touch of teal and ivory. But with navy bridesmaids dresses, I am planning on using very pale pink dahlias for the bouquets and we aren't having floral centerpieces.
When is your wedding? I decided I wanted to use in season flowers, so that helped narrow down the choices. On fiftyflowers, you can also search by color to help give you some ideas.
we're doing turquoise and lime green.. and it burns my butt, just a little that the knot just declared those to be the new "it" colors! anywhooo.. my flowers are blue hydrangea with large white chrysanthemums and little green mums. on our tables we're using fake.. and they'll have green daisies instead of green mums bc i couldnt find fake green mums anywhere!
I'd like to have colored flowers for my bouquet, all white hydrangeas for the centerpeices, and all white carnations or hydrangeas (I would prefer hydrangeas, but I have read that they don't last long outside of water so might have to go with carnations) for the BMs bouquets.
We are using Hydrangeas in ivory and light blue with accents in deep blue delphiniums.
Here is a link to the color of a delphinuim and other blue flowers. Try the Knot too they have some good ideas. I know irises also come in blue. Good luck.

use something that off sets your dress colors. for example, my wedding colors are navy and gold, but since colors don't really grow in those colors very often I'm using neutrals for the flowers. I get light pink since my dress is champagne and my girls get off white since their dresses are navy. I really hated the ides of anyone's flowers blending in with their dresses. You should be able to find the lighter blue color flowers, if your girls are wearing the darker color that would be pretty.
our colors are navy blue, light blue, and ivory...bridesmaids are wearing navy with 2 small flower accents on the sash that are light blue..so their bouquets are going to be a combination of light blue/ivory..i'm hoping to use hydrangeas and some other flowers...my bouquet will be ivory/white...
Check out these blue dendrobium orchids...we're using these as our main flower. It's hard to find something blue that's not tacky. These are actually purple ones which are dyed blue...I love them! :) The second pic is just my bouquet...but it will have some of those blue dendro's in it. :)
I'm using a bright blue and flowers will be yellow with some orange (flowery colors : )
I'm pretty sure my invitations, menu cards, table numbers, etc. will all be in India Blue, Navy Blue and Brown but all of our flowers will be pink. Oh and the BM dresses are platinum. I think the colors go really well together. And you don't have to tie ALL the colors into EVERY detail. So you flowers can just be pink while your linens are blue. You know?
I'm using Royal Blue/ Yellow. Blue dresses with yellow sash and yellow shoes, My flowers and sunflowers and red accent flowers
...
Here's an example of colors and flowes.
With your wedding being in May...if you are only having Navy as your color, think of another color you really like that is bright...many colors will go great with navy. You could really do so many things!! My colors are fuscia and navy...mostly fuscia, but bright with the navy always looks great.
I'm using bright colors - oranges/yellows/corals. Sort of sunset-y colors because the wedding will be on the LI Sound.
We are doing navy blue and pairing it with hot pink/fuschia. I love the colors together! girl will have navy dresses and pink flowers!
