There's a meteor shower tonight. FI wants to head out to a lake to watch the show tonight. I think we'll take some blankets and a bottle of wine. We need a nice romantic date!

ETA: FI just told me that it started last night and goes for about 4 days, so you wouldn't have to stay up that late. It just needs to be dark.

I looked and didn't see anything, but the cats were inside getting into a wrestling match that i COULD see, so i went in and watched that inside. Oh well! I would have loved to be out west for it.

It's been nothing but cloudy and rainy up here in British Columbia. I haven't seen a meteor shower in many years - and your date night idea sounds perfect!
