...no matter who, no matter how famous...no holds barred here...who would you choose?
Michael Buble! I love him and he'd be TOTALLY wedding appropriate!
Spoon or Jay0Z but they aren't really right for a wedding. maybe the after party?
Thats tough because my top 3 really wouldn't be right for a wedding.
Blue October is too deep and sometimes depressing
Muse could work possibly...there wouldn't be much dancing though
Queens of the Stone Age...just doesn't scream wedding to me lol
That really is a tough one...
Al Green!
Although I almost changed my mind cause Michael Buble would be a perfect choice too...
U2 without a doubt...
though Jack johnson could open for them! that would be fabulous.
oohhh fun! My music love is so not in the wedding genre but I want Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, and Ryan Adams there
Michael Buble all the way!!! Oh my!! I just might run off with him....
If you ask me... probably Switchfoot, they are one of my favorites and versatile, so they could play from the cremeony to the after party!
If you ask FI, probably Enanitos Verdes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtUB7PjlcVA
Ooh fun question! Mine would be Dashboard Confessional, hands down (no pun intended, hehe!) I've been obsessed with Chris Carrabba's music for years now and it would be my dream to have him play at my wedding!
The Clarks-a local Pittsburh area band. Great, plain old rock and roll. They have a lot of albums out, but they're just not nationally known.
We have a favorite local band and even before we were engaged he asked what it would be like to have them play our wedding. As much as I would have loved it, I think it would have meant the attention would be on them and the music, not our families joining! Ah, I guess that's not the point of the quesiton...
U2, but preferably the U2 from the late 80's early 90's because thats when they were at the top of their game (got the ticket stub and tshirt to prove it)
for a bit of mood music, Norah Jones or Alicia Keyes
FI would say Stevie Ray Vaughn. I would probably say Ray LaMontagne!
If I just had to pick one it would be Bob Dylan since he sings our song :)
Stevie Ray Vaughn would be awesome. I'd def have some Texas Country (sorry it's kind of a thing in Texas) Along that thread I'd want Willie Nelson or Jerry Jeff Walker. Or maybe Wade Bowen or Radney Foster
Oh my, now DMB and Jack Johnson in the mix, yeah- I'd happily take any of them!
Spiritualized for cocktails and dinner, then Gang Starr for dancing.
Rascal Flatts or Christina Aguilera. I've seen both in concert multiple times and they are both just amazing.
Amy Winehouse - but she would have to be somewhat clean for the show! If we're included dead musicians - than hands down Otis Redding!
Stevie Wonder!
Or, if we can pick deceased, Bob Marley (the wedding is in Jamaica).
LLauRRa - CAKE! I would totally LOVE having them, but I don't know if people would know how to dance to it. But I would be loving life! They're awesome live.
Me too on the U2! Okay, that was bad, couldn't stop myself. Also, someone from the Twin Cities who recently moved to Portland, OR, and whose music I love love love: Haley Bonar.
The Beatles
The Forecast
Jack Johnson
Rufus Wainwright
Sight For Sore Eyes (so wedding appropriate, I know)
Against Me!
Eeepeppp ... so many bands ...
