scissors. i would hunt with it, and then build a hut and sleep in it, and then a raft and escape on it. 
my bigo paper cutter for the same reasons as bee stated but i could just take out the knife part and make it all easier than weetle scissors, ha!
I mean, if we're going for survival here...I would go with my exacto knife. But if we're talking the 'desert island' of all the other craft materials around me are sub par except for this one thing I happen to have on me...I guess I would go with my Creative Memories Circle cutters. By far the best of the best out there.

I'm sure if I had a Gocco I would be in love with it too! However, my (current) favorite are these embroidery scissors that are curved which are GREAT for cutting out circles and curved stuff! I'm in love with them!
Haha you guys took that pretty literally. I dunno what I would actually do with a Gocco on a desert island :)

I'm with Avacado--my laptop! I'm a design freak! I start everything there. The execution of that design could be anywhere, but it all starts with the computer! 
I don't have a gocco, but if I did, I would choose it. I've been so close to buying one, but I have very little I could use it for (at the moment).
If I had to choose one of the tools I have now it would be colored floral spray. I saved so much buying white mini calla lilies and hand spraying them pink.
What a fun question! I would def take my cutter´s box! those are magical Maybe I could even cook with those on the Island :P
i was thinking my laptop and my big cutter. i have to have precision cut fig leaves, right?
I'm a huge scrapper so my Fi got me a cricut as a surprise just because we saw the infomercial the previous weekend and I fell in love! So I think it would have to be my cricut and 2nd would be my paper cutter!
My little corner rounder!! I love it and use it on everything...pretty much if its made of card stock, or a photo, its got rounded corners!
to be perfectly honest? Probably knitting kneedles! It's necessarily always my favorite craft, but it's something I do for a really long time on a deserted island.
Swiss Army Knife. Survival, filing my nails, probably some crafts... lol 
My glue gun, it is my version of duct tape. There is nothing I can't do with it.
Oh, but if I had a Gocco that would probably win. Just so cool.
I would bring my Gocco for sure! I could pass the time crafting..until I ran out of supplies : (
thanks to weddingbee and the craftiness of poodle, duckling and all the other diy queen bees, i have tons of new toys...er, tools now. i don't know which is my favorite yet.

What's your favorite DIY tool you own?
Mine, of course... Gocco. I do really really also love my Xyron 510 sticker maker. Sort of a "distant second" if you will.
