I’d walk into a Badgley Mischka bridal store, blindfold myself and the first dress I touched would be the one. I absolutely love their dresses and would wear any of them…hands down. Past and present collections included! lol

I would have Oscar de la Renta design a custom gown for me.  A girl can dream.

@jaguar:no no no!!!!!!!!!  I didn’t buy it! But i did try it on, and it was a massive struggle to take it off again!  I bought a lisa ho dress for a much more reasonable price!

@ScarletBegonia: I’ll bet! I was having major droolage at the Amsale one. 😉 Lisa Ho sounds just as nice though, yay supporting Aussie designers!

I love dress porn. There was a similar thread not long ago, and I have honorable mentions to fairytale gowns like Kenneth Poll Mesmerized and Monique Lhuillier Lyric. I also love Judd Waddell and Jim Hjelm, but the new one I’ll post in this thread that I discovered after that thread is by Christos and it is called Beautiful —

I love how simple and elegant it is with just the right amount of details.

And then I found this dress online last night and nearly fell out of my chair — the sweetheart lace top, the ribbon and button details on the bodice, the full and floaty skirt, and the beautiful scallop hem… it needs at least a sweep train and then I would sell a kidney for it. It is perhaps a little more princessy that I want, but I love all those elements individually so I can’t say no to a dress that has them all!

I wouldn’t hesitate about the price, and just order one from Whirling Turban. Instead, I’m working with my sewing instructor, and getting something very similar for just the cost of the fabric and maybe a few lattes. 🙂
