I wouldn't buy them if you don't know her style. I don't wear bengals as they rarely fit my tiny wrists. You might go with some baked goods or bottle of wine a month, omaha steaks or something along those lines.
Is she in any of your wedding photos? Or on Facebook? You can see what type of jewelry she wears thru photos maybe?
Idk what a bangle is... at first I thought you said bagles (the food) :).
I would love bangles, but jewelry can be tricky to buy for someone else. Of course FI is no help- I know it's a generalization, but most men don't usually notice stuff like that. Do you have a chance to be around her before the holidays so you can get a better idea of her tastes?
Well, I know my FMIL loves bangles. She wears tri-color diamond ones and stacks them with regular gold ones and I think they are pretty classic.
I think it's a great gift if she likes wrist jewelry. Some don't.
@serabell: good idea about checking out photos to get an idea of what someone would like! I have never thought to do that!
I really like how they look but they never fit over my hands. I don't know if that might be a problem for your recipient too.

I have no idea what to get my FMIL, I'm thinking about bangles. But of course now that I think about it I have no idea what type of jewelry she wears- and FI is no help.
This is my first Christmas with them.
