Just one here from the second round of clomid for me. Drs did watch me closely bc my initial hcg levels were high and I had strange bleeding. Most gals I see with multiples were on more extensive drugs(injections and trigger shots) and usually an iui.

My gf had one baby on her first round of clomid, and now pregnant with her second (only one again) on her 4th round.

For what it’s worth, I think the risk of multiples is about 20% on most fertility drugs – so 80% of users still only have one baby.

I was worried about this too.  My doctor told me that it does increase the risk of twins, it isn’t the type of fertility drug that will give you quads, etc.  I got pregnant my second round of clomid and just had an ultrasound, there is only one baby in there.

I know several people who used Clomid and only had 1 baby. I also have a friend who had triplets, but she used injectables with an IUI.

My iui while on clomid got canceled because of 7+ large eggs (I was on the lowest dose). It stumped the hell out of my RE. If your worried about multiples you should look into femera.

I had one month doing clomid/IUI.  I produced one mature follicle and did not get pregnant.  The next cycle, I switched to letrozole and produced 2 mature follicles.  The timing of the IUI did not work out for us, so we just had good old-fashined sex.  I’m now 24 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins.  My doctors gave us something like a 2% chance of getting pregnant naturally, so even when I knew that I had produced 2 mature follicles, I never in a million years thought that both those follicles would turn into babies.  The twin news scared me to death when I first found out, but now, I am so overjoyed by these little lives growing in me.  I cannot wait to meet them!  Good luck to you and your decision!
