well if only a week probably somewhere fairly close, but if we had a bit longer, Paris/Europe, Hawaii or The States in general to visit family (which we will hopefully be doing in June/July next year :))

If I had one week, I’d definitely go to either Paris, Ireland, or an all-inclusive “walking holiday” in Slovenia.  Since it’s in October…well, OKTOBERFEST of course!!!! πŸ˜€

From the States, I’d do Vancouver; it’s a bit of a long travel day from the East Coast unless you’re in one of the few lucky cities that get nonstop service, but it’s well worth it. Great weather year-round, sparkling clean city full of really lovely, nice people, tons of stuff to do, especially on the water. Some really great restaurants too. Day trip to the mountains or Victoria.   Easily one of my 2 favorite destinations in North America (the other being Chicago but with that only being a 90 minute flight for me, I can nip up there any time).

A Euro trip! London, Paris and Rome, if you haven’t traveled much (my DH has never left the country, so this is our first anniversary trip.) This is shockingly affordable, too, and with ten days, inlcuding travel, I’d probably limit it to two cities.

If you’ve traveled a fair bit, I’d want to go to Russia or Slovenia. Argentina is super high on my list, too.

If you want to relax, Benidorm, Spain is beautiful!

Ooh! And a cruise… cruise to anywhere!

…travel is on my brain.

Silly me, I almost forgot – you could also come over to MALTA πŸ™‚ it’s really nice here in October. Weather is still warm, but the place isn’t swarming with tourists. πŸ™‚

Ireland, in a heartbeat.

Closer to home, the Bahamas, or upstate New York.

the barranca del cobre canyon/copper canyon in mexico – taking the train up past all the scenery- the chepe. its bigger than the grand canyon yet somehow most people havent heard of it. also supposed to have lush vegetation and and bunch of things to do.

its on my list of things i want to see! id probably combine it with  a few of the colonial cities i want to see and/or a few days on the beach.

orrrrrrr a safari in suoth africa! because i like giraffes haha

since you have only a week a trip to Australia or New Zealand may not be a good idea due to the long flights, otherwise i would highly recommend either, it is Spring here from September to November, so the weather is fairly warm, and lots of flowers are in bloom πŸ™‚

As I am originally from Scotland/England these places are FANTASTIC for a vacation – Ireland is also soooooo beautiful (Biased towards Scotland though!!)

So for me I would have to pick another location – Peru and Machu Picchu for me πŸ™‚
