I would tell people that I was going to take a long walk and catch up on some laundry. But then I would just cuddle up on the sofa with too much candy and have a TV marathon of some sort.

Sleep in, mani/pedi, get lunch with a friend, go shopping since there are fewer crowds on a weekday, or just stay in and watch netflix all day, haha!

Wow I am also starting a new job on Aug 6th and the process of leaving my job has been super stressful! My last day was yesterday- I knew i would need some time to distress  before jumping into something new! I  am trying to figure out how to spend my precious time, and so far it looks like weddingbee is going to be getting some extra love this week! I plan to go shopping, get some wedding stuff done, catch up on cleaning/laundry, read, cook, watch my fav shows and catch up on sleep. Life is so much more enjoyable when I’m not stressed out! I see the appeal in being a stay at home wife hahaha… Although I think the balance is needed to make me appreciate this time off 🙂

I was only at my job 11 months and I initally felt guilty about leaving in less than a year.. But realized you gotta do what makes you happy!

Massage in the morning, a yummy brunch, read a book on the couch, go on a picnic at the park with my 2 dogs, pick up fresh produce, and then throw together a delicious dinner (with appetizers, protein, sides, dessert and wine).

@orchidaloha:  Yay for you!  I have a work schedule where I get every other Friday off, and FI always works every day, so I’ve become very normal on finding stuff to do all day by myself.  I try to schedule any/all appointments as possible on those days so I don’t miss work.  If I don’t have any, I go shopping, clean house, run errands, sleep in, and/or go to the pool.  I love having a day to catch up and be productive, or sometimes to do nothing at all.  Have fun!!

@orchidaloha:  I would do my hair and makeup all nice, I would go out for lunch with a friend and have a glass of wine (:D) I would go to the mall, Chapters, grab a Starbucks, go home and get comfy on my couch and watch Food Network… surf the net. Walk my dog. I would do all the things!! And I think I would make something yummy for supper. I WOULD MAKE BREAKFAST FOR SUPPER!

Sleep until noon with my kitty, lounge around in PJs watching tv for a few hours, take a shower but not do my hair at all, put PJs back on, order pizza for dinner and watch more TV! I’m a lazy bum.
